2017 Hudson Ambassador Candidacy
Announcement Coming... March 2017!
Candidacy Mission Statement
The Hudson Ambassador Candidacy is a time for young adults to challenge and expose themselves to new experiences, new skills and new friendships. We work to provide many positive situations for the candidates to grow personally and socially. We anticipate some positive outcomes of candidacy to be; self-confidence, leadership, social confidence, etiquette, interview skills, initiative, and volunteerism. The Hudson Ambassador Candidacy prepares the candidates not only for a year with the crown, but also for the years ahead.
The Hudson Ambassador Candidate Program lasts over 8 weeks during late spring and early summer. The Hudson Ambassador Committee interacts and mentors the candidates at different events and rehearsals to prepare them for their interview, and the pageant judging process. Additionally, the committee facilitates public appearances and community service opportunities to expand the candidate’s personal development.
